The honor has been set up by Mrs J E Clad whose little girl, Laura, was an understudy at the University until her unplanned demise in 1971.
The object of the grant is to help an exceptional understudy of ecological investigations or related courses who indicates potential to add to the protection of nature and the earth.
Degree Level: The grant will be available to understudies in the College of Science
undertaking a theory for the level of M.Sc. or then again Ph.D.

Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship shall be awarded by the Council of the University upon the recommendation of the Dean of Science, which may, at its discretion, consider the academic merit of, and courses proposed by, the applicants, as well as their financial circumstances. If, in any year, there are two candidates of equal merit, the scholarship
