Scotland Saltire Scholarships (UK)
2020/2021 Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships are open to international students from Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan and USA. The scholarships are towards Masters degrees in science, technology, creative industries, healthcare and medical sciences, or renewable and clean energy, offered at Scottish universities in the UK. Deadline is 31 July 2020. Course starts Fall 2020.

DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Masters Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance (Germany)
2021 DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Scholarships for Public Policy and Governance will open on 1 June 2020 to students from eligible countries in Western, Central, South-Eastern Europe; Eastern Europe, Central Asia & South Caucasus; and the Middle East and North Africa. The scholarships are towards a Masters Degree related to Development, Public Policy, and Good Governance at participating German Universities. Deadline is 31 July 2020. Course starts September-October 2021.

UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarships (UK)
2020-2021 UAL/ISH Postgraduate Scholarships are open to international students, specifically to students from eligible developing countries. The scholarships are towards a Masters Degree at the University of the Arts London in UK. Deadline is 19 June 2020 for courses starting September 2020.

UWE Chancellor’s Scholarships (UK)
2020 UWE Chancellor’s Scholarship is open to international students outside the EU. The partial tuition scholarship is towards any eligible one-year Master’s Programme offered at University of the West of England in UK. Next deadline is 30 June 2020. Course starts September 2020.

Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships at University of Bath (UK)
2020/2021 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships are open to students from any country. The scholarships are towards Masters degree in Engineering & Design; Humanities & Social Sciences; and Sciences offered at the University of Bath in UK. The next deadline is 17 July 2020. Course starts September 2020.

Geoffrey Oldham Memorial Scholarships in Science Policy Research at University of Sussex (UK)
2020/2021 Geoffrey Oldham Memorial Scholarships are open to international students from anywhere in the world. The scholarships are towards Masters degree studies in Energy Policy, Project Management, Science and Technology Policy, Strategic Innovation Management MSc and Sustainable Development, offered at the University of Sussex in the UK. Deadline is 1 June 2020. Course starts September 2020.

School of Economics Scholarships for MSc Development Economics at University of Kent (UK)
2020/2021 The Kent School of Economics Scholarships are open to international students from low and lower middle income countries. The scholarships are towards Masters degree in Development Economics offered at the University of Kent in the UK. Deadline is 22 June 2020. Course starts September 2020.

Recanati-Kaplan Foundation Scholarships for PgDip in International Wildlife Conservation Practice at the University of Oxford (UK)
2021 Recanati-Kaplan Foundation Scholarships are open to international students from developing countries. The scholarships are towards Postgraduate Diploma in International Wildlife Conservation Practice offered at the University of Oxford in the UK. Deadline is 19 June 2020. Master of Sustainable Built Environment (MBuiltEnv) at University of New South Wales (Australia)
The Master of Sustainable Built Environment (MBuiltEnv) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) is a 1.7 years full-time taught Masters degree that teaches students how to apply the principles of sustainable development to the planning, design, construction and management of future cities. Applicants must have a 4-year undergraduate degree with a Credit average or above (WAM 65+ or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Built Environment disciplines or related areas such as environmental science or engineering. There are 2 admissions a year – in Term 1 and Term 3. The application deadline for Term 3, 2020 entry is 31 July 2020, and that for Term 1, 2021 entry is 30 November 2020. The application deadline for the UNSW International Scholarships for full-time studies commencing Term 3, 2020, is 31 July 2020.

Master of Public Policy (MPP) at University of Erfurt (Germany)
The Master of Public Policy at the Brandt School, University of Erfurt, is a 2-year interdisciplinary degree program designed for young academics and professionals who wish to pursue a career in public service, including government agencies, international organizations and the non-profit sector. Courses studied include political and economic analysis, statistics, public management and ethics. Applicants must have at the minimum, a German “Abitur”, a General Secondary Education Certificate, or a high school diploma or international equivalent, as well as a university diploma awarded for an academic program with a duration of a minimum of 6 semesters of study. The application deadline for 2020-2022 study is 31 May 2020 for international applicants from non-EU countries (and EU nationals applying for a scholarship, such as the Haniel Stipend), and 1 September 2020 for applicants from EU countries (+ EFTA). Deadline for DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme is 31 July 2020.

Design for Social Innovation and Sustainable Futures (MA) at University of Arts London (UK)
The MA Design for Social Innovation and Sustainable Futures at the London College of Communication, University Arts London (UAL), is a 1 year 3 months full time taught Masters degree programme meant for designers of all types individuals interested in working inside complex global issues and in exploring the future of design practice and its inter-dependency with humanitarian and ecological concerns. Applicants may come from a range of design disciplines or related creative industry experiences with a 2:1 or above Honours degree course, or with other equivalent qualifications. Applications for October 2020 start can be made at any time of the year, but early application is advised. The application deadline for UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarships and the UAL International Postgraduate £5,000 Scholarships is 19 June 2020.

Recanati-Kaplan Centre Postgraduate Diploma in International Wildlife Conservation Practice (PgDip) at University of Oxford (UK)
The Recanati-Kaplan Centre Postgraduate Diploma in International Wildlife Conservation Practice at the University of Oxford is a 7 to 8 months, full-time course for early-career wildlife researchers, that runs from March to September each year. The course is designed to enhance the skills of conservation science practitioners by teaching field survey techniques, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques commonly used in the study of terrestrial mammals and aims to help ecologists and field biologists in the developing world to implement effective conservation research and action. As a minimum, applicants should hold or be predicted to achieve the equivalent of the UK qualifications of a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a biology/natural resources-related field. The application deadline for March 2021 entry as well as for the Recanati-Kaplan Foundation Scholarships is 19 June 2020.

Sustainable Development (MSc) at University of Sussex (UK)
The Sustainable Development MSc is a 1 year full time, or 2 years part time Masters degree programme taught on-campus at the University of Sussex, commencing September each academic year. You can also study this course online, to be completed in 2 to 4 years. You will learn how to translate socio-ecological theories and technological innovation into effective policies and practices for sustainable development. Applicants should have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above, or international equivalent, preferably in the social sciences, natural science, humanities or engineering. The application deadlines for the on-campus programme for September 2020 entry is 1 August 2020 (international) and 1 September 2020 (UK/EU). The application deadline for the Geoffrey Oldham, Margaret Sharp, Puay Tang and Carlota Perez Scholarships is 1 June 2020.

Development Economics (MSc) at University of Kent (UK)
The MSc in Development Economics at the University of Kent provides training in the application of economic principles to the problems of international development and explores the wide range of policies aimed at overcoming economic underdevelopment. Applicants must have a good honours degree (minimum 2:2) from the UK or international equivalent in sciences or social sciences. The application deadline for September 2020 entry is 31 July 2020 for international students. The application deadline for the School of Economics Scholarship for MSc Development Economics and School of Economics Scholarship for Excellence is 22 June 2020, while that for the MastersCompare Postgraduate Scholarship is 28 August 2020.

Environmental Consultancy (MSc) at UWE Bristol (UK)
The MSc Environmental Consultancy at the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE Bristol) is a 1-year full-time, or 2-3 years part-time Masters degree which will train students to make positive contributions to existing environmental consultancy practice, and respond to and initiate change in line with contemporary and emerging issues. Applicants should have an honours degree of 2:2 or above in a geographical, engineering, environmental or scientific subject, or if lacking that, possess sufficient relevant experience. Applications for September 2020 entry will be considered until all places are filled. The application deadline for UWE Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Students and UWE Millenium Scholarship for International Students is 30 June 2020, whilst that for the Hodgkin House Accommodation Scholarship is 13 July 2020.

EdX MicroMasters® Program in Solar Energy Engineering at TU Delft

This program certificate will demonstrate that you have the advanced competencies that international development agencies are increasingly demanding from their leaders and managers. After gaining a verified certificate for each of the four prerequisite courses you will be awarded the MicroMasters program certificate in Leadership in Global Development.

If you are more inclined to take a short course, EdX offers many short courses in social sciencesenvironmental studies, economics and finance.
